I took my son to the clinic today and we saw Dr. Shane Dunaway. They took a Covid swab and throat swab to rule out Covid, influenza, and strep. The doctor was very dismissive and suggesting that my son had the common cold and to give him Tylenol, soup, and fluids. He goes to check the labs on the swabs and my son’s results showed he tested positive for Covid. Dr. Dunaway prescribed him the antiviral medicine paxlovid. Mind you he was VERY confident that my son would be back to himself by Wednesday. We get to the pharmacy and the pharmacist looked at me like I was crazy trying to fill that prescription for an 8 YEAR OLD. That medicine is only meant to be taken if you are 12 years old and up. I am very upset. I called the clinic and the gal told me she sent him an urgent message, I haven’t heard ANYTHING. As a professional doctor who carries himself so nonchalantly when patients come in terrified because they know something more is wrong than just the common cold, DO BETTER. I don’t appreciate his disregard for my child and his life. What could have happened if he had taken it? You, your shadow, and medical assistant ALL knew that a child his age cannot take that medicine but yet you

My provider is Jane Takeda, NP, and she has been excellent. I've been to this clinic 3 or 4 times now, and its has gone smoothly. The staff at the front were professional, I was seen in a timely manner, and Jane is very knowledgeable and has a great demeanor.

This clinic is so bad d that it doesn't even deserve 1 star hell not even a zero star more like negative 1 billion + Reception poor scheduling forget it plan to wait 6 to 8 weeks and if they have to cancel u wait another 6 to 8 weeks I'm from California and to county hospital r ten times better than this place hell I wouldn't even bring a dog or cat to this hell hole Best advice I would give is find a better clinic cause this one doesn't care. I've worked in manage care and this is unexceptable don't go to this clinic at all ""THEY DONT CARE""
